As in 2019, we are once again holding our event exclusively as a charity event in favor of Stiftung Kindertraum. With your participation, YOU can make once more an important contribution to children in need. Thank you!
We start Friday evening where you can spend an enjoyable evening together with special guests at the Top-Lokal, followed with workshops on Saturday.
We are particularly thankful to have Louis Boria alias Brooklyn Boy Knits again in Vienna, also hosting one of the knitting courses. He is very much looking forward to seeing you all again and we are interesting to hear what Louis has to say about his career and experiences since 2019.
With Urth Yarns we have found a sponsor who makes it possible that Nurgün Bayazıt and Kuğu Alper from Örgütopya can join us. The Duo Örgütopya has already created several designs for UrthYarns.
Michaela Ruppnig, known for her creative knitting and crochet skills, will tell us lots of tricks.
We would also like to thank LangYarns for their support of Vienna City Knits 2023, with their great help, the event could be organised in this special way.
So, you can be part of an exciting and informative evening and, as already in 2019, the Top-Lokal will spoil us with appetizers and drinks.
We look forward to seeing you!
With this year's motto "Design together", we want to inspire you to be courageous and creative in performing patterns in your knitwear. For this purpose, we have invited top-class designers to show you this way. We wish you lot of fun at the workshops. The workshops of Brooklyn Boy Knits and Örgütopya will take place twice, Michaela will hold her workshop in the afternoon. The number of participants is limited to 10 people per workshop, so that you have enough time to ask your questions and discuss during the 2 hours. Material will be provided, please bring a 80 cm circular knitting needle (3.5 mm).
